Users
STServer uses accounts and user groups to control access. Guests can view content made available to the guest account. Other users register an account and sign in. The usual workflow is:\
- The user fills out a registration form.
- An Admin (who has admin rights) assigns the new user to user groups, granting admin or group admin rights if necessary.
STANAG On Demand Server comes with two predefined users:
Guest user
The Guest user is a default user that is pre-configured on the server and cannot be deleted. Visitors to the STANAG On Demand Server who have not registered will be treated as guest users.
User: guest
Password: guest
superAdmin user
The superAdmin user is a default admin user that is pre-configured on the server and should only be used for initial configuration.
User: superAdmin
Password: 123456
Replace the default password before deployment and use named administrator accounts for routine work.
groupAdmin user
A groupAdmin user is a special type of admin user with reduced privileges.
- A groupAdmin can create and manage missions that belong to their particular group.
- A groupAdmin can control live missions on platforms they are allowed to access.
A groupAdmin has access to the Admin page but cannot perform all actions, such as granting user access rights. To assign groupAdmin privileges to a user, you must be an admin or superAdmin.
User login access
Click the account icon in the app bar to open Login, then select Register to create an account.

User registration
Users should register through the Register window.

A new user does not automatically have admin rights. An existing admin can grant these rights through the Edit Users section in the Admin window.

User login
Users can log in through the Login window.

After you sign in successfully, the account icon indicates that you are authenticated.
