Metadata Ingest

When in File mode, StPlayer automatically ingests metadata to enable geo-related queries.

If the stream contains multiple KLV PIDs, StPlayer ingests all of them. Geo queries, however, use the currently selected PID.

The number of ingested packets and any ingest errors are displayed on the File Info page:

Ingesting all metadata from large files can take time, consume significant storage, and slow geo-query calculations.

To improve performance, enable packet sampling by defining a minimum interval (in milliseconds) between ingested packets.
