STANAG Metadata Encoder  Version 1.0.0
STANAG Metadata Encoder Documentation

Introduction

STANAG Metadata Encoder is a powerful, yet easy to use metadata processing tool for transcoding of various telemetry metadata formats into MISB 0601.5 compliant RAW KLV used for metadata insertion into Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Imagery. This tool receives a CSV or other human readable metadata packets over LAN, encodes them on the fly, and sends the resulting data packet over the Ethernet for live data insertion by encoders or injectors for live generation of the STANAG 4609 compliant streams. STANAG Metadata Encoder is used for online STANAG streams generation by combining a FMV with an external sensors data.

Getting started with STANAG Metadata Encoder.

Using STANAG Metadata Encoder is easy. Configure input and output network (and optional file) parameters and press Start button. Make sure your data is compatible with the following formats:

Supported Data formats.
For example, the following csv string received by STANAG Metadata Encoder:
",2014-Aug-14 14:38:20.162000,TEST,ROV2,162.55,0.0000,0.0000,10,,ROV3,,WGS-84,4438.1543,06333.6474,57.20,1.1,1.2,1.3,,,,1.4,1.5,1.6,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,"
will be converted into RAW Klv data packet, as shown by KlvInspector
